Rato (sustantivo masculine)

English: a while ago: period of time, moment, al poco rato (shortly)

Spanish: Periodo de tiempo, normalmente cuando es corto. Gustos pasajeros (pasar un buen rato). Macho de la rata.

Examples: Espera un rato. He pasado un mal rato en Alicante. En este rato libre que tengo voy a llamar a mi madre.
