Palabra del día – Herido/a

Herido/a (adjetivo (Del part. de herir).

English: Injured, wounded, casualty – herida: cut, wound, injury

Spanish: deterioro o daño causado por una contusión. Corte o desgarro en el cuerpo. Algo que atormenta y aflige  el ánimo. Ofensa, agravio. Golpe de las armas blancas al herir con ellas.

Examples: En el terremoto de Loraca hubo más de 100 heridos. Al caerse de la bicicleta se hizo una herida enorme. Es mejor no hurgar en las heridas del pasado
